Litigation support (discovery/paralegal) work can be a great way to use your legal training from an alternate angle, working on large and often controversial cases with prestigious Australian law firms and document management companies.  The work involves computerisation of documents in preparation for court hearings or for Royal Commissions.

If you intend to practise law at some stage, this experience will enhance your resume.  Many people who have completed a law or semi-legal degree find a new career path in this growing area of legal work.
